(BEDFORD) – Bedford’s downtown merchants are encouraging people to come downtown during Shop the Square, an event to encourage residents to visit downtown and learn what the area has to offer.
Several downtown businesses are participating. Those businesses will have a sign with this year’s theme – Fall in Love with Downtown Bedford – on their door or window.
Shoppers receive an entry ticket by visiting participating businesses to win a Downtown Merchant Gift Basket filled with gift certificates and other goodies. Shoppers will receive a second entry when they make a purchase.
Shoppers can visit a participating business every day to receive an entry through October 31st. The winner will be announced Nov. 2.
Bedford Revitalization Inc. will announce the Grand Prize Winner of the Downtown Merchant Collective Gift Basket after November 3rd.
Many businesses are offering special discounts and sales throughout the month. Time to start your early Christmas shopping!
