Bedford Man Issued Summons To Appear In Court On Marijuana Charges

(BEDFORD) – A Bedford man was issued a summons to appear in court on marijuana charge after a Bedford Police officer stopped his vehicle early Friday morning for a traffic violation.

Police issued a summons to appear in court on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia to 22-year-old Caleb Brown, of Bedford.

A Bedford Police officer stopped Brown’s vehicle after they received a complaint of an erratic driver in a white Ford Escape.

“An officer located the vehicle and made a stop after witnessing a traffic violation,” said Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore. “The driver, Caleb Brown, admitted to the officer that there was marijuana in the vehicle after being asked about the odor.  The officer located drug paraphernalia and marijuana inside a jacket pocket Brown was wearing.”

Brown was cited and released with a court summons.
