(GREENCASTLE) – Putnamville Correctional Facility celebrates Jeff Newton, who just completed 20 years of employment with the Indiana Department of Corrections (IDOC).
Newton began his career as a Correctional Officer with Putnamville Correctional Facility (PCF) in the late 2000s. “Newton is an honest staff member, whose knowledge is sought after by the newer staff,” stated Deputy Warden Timmy Phegley. Phegley concluded, “Newton has proven his dedication to PCF time after time. We have benefited from having him in our facility, his efforts have been invaluable as we work through the pandemic together. We thank Recreation Leader Newton for his service, veteran staff like Newton are invaluable to IDOC.”
