(BEDFORD) – The Bedford Fire Department responded to a possible gas leak around 2:30 p.m. Monday.
I Street was closed for approximately thirty minutes waiting on Vectern Energy to arrive and fix the issue.
Firefighters were on scene for approximately forty minutes before leaving the scene.
The incident took place near Standish Feed Supply located in the 1000 block of I Street. No evacuations were conducted, however, fire officials closed traffic to the area.
