Wanda Jean Pridemore, 83, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020, at University of Louisville Hospital.
Born October 15, 1936, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Opal and Inice (Johnson) Grissom. She married Charles Pridemore October 1, 1999, and he preceded her in death June 11, 2008.
Wanda was a bartender at Jack’s Lounge for 34 years. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 250.
Survivor includes daughters, Marilyn Jean (Joseph) Tarr of Bedford, Cynthia Lee of Mitchell, 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren.
Her parents; husband; daughters, Nora Roxanne Williams and Judith Ann Williams; and siblings, Ruth Roberts, Pauline Hardin, Jimmy Grissom, Herbert Grissom, Elsie Leatherman, Opal Grissom, Jr., Lloyd Grissom, Carl Grissom, Loretta Grissom, Catherine Pridemore, and her twin, Bobby Dean Grissom, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, at Mitchell Cemetery with Lee Hupp officiating.
