Jackson County Health Department Performing COVID-19 Testing in Brownstown

(BROWNSTOWN) – The Jackson County Health Department announces that an agreement has been reached with the Town of Brownstown to offer COVID-19 testing in the old Town Hall.

The Optuum testing that was operating out the Schneck Medical Center facility has moved its operation to the old Town Hall, at 200 W. Walnut St., Brownstown.

“We believe this location will allow easier access to COVID testing for individuals living on the western side of Jackson county as well as eastern Lawrence and northern Washington Counties”, stated Dr. Christopher Bunce, Jackson County Health Officer.

The testing site is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
