Judy Hawkins, 77, of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2020 at her residence.
Born September 15, 1943 in Sterling, Illinois she was the daughter of Ralph I. and Bernice Jamison. She married Kenneth D. Hawkins on July 25, 1957 and he survives.
Judy was the owner of Hawkins Market, Hawkins Auto Sales, Hawkins Liquors, and was a property manager for Hawkins Rental Homes and Home Sales. She attended Cornerstone Church in Bloomington and East Oolitic Community Church in Oolitic.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Judy are: her husband, Kenneth D. Hawkins; son, Kenneth W. Hawkins; brother, Lynne G. Jamison; grandchildren, Arie N. Bottorff and wife Kate, Nash Bottorff, and Joanie A. Hawkins.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Michelle R. Hawkins-Bottorff; sister, Joan G. Sego-Cramer; and brother Earl I. Jamison.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 11 a.m at the Judah Cemetery with Pastor Millard Jones officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes.
