NSWC Crane to Hold First-Ever Virtual Career Fair on October 22

(CRANE) – Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) is hosting its first-ever virtual career fair on Thursday, October 22 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. EST. NSWC Crane is hiring business and technical positions from student and entry level to journeyman experience levels. This event is open to the public.

Electrical, computer, software, mechanical, optical, and industrial engineering positions are open as well as computer science and other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) major opportunities. Business career opportunities include contracts, logistics, and IT specialists as well as management and financial analysts, accountants, technicians, and other business majors.

The event will allow participants to message or video/voice chat with recruiters, supervisors, and human resource professionals about career opportunities at NSWC Crane.

After registering, participants should navigate to the fair by choosing “My Fairs” and then “NSWC Crane 2020 Virtual Career Fair.” Candidates can then select “Chat Now” to navigate to the “NSWC Crane Information Booth,” where they can speak with an NSWC Crane employee and be connected to the correct human resource professional and/or supervisors.

Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) will attend and is accepting resumes for the following positions: Architect, Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Facilities Services Assistant, Engineering Technician, AC Equipment Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Worker, Industrial Equipment Mechanic, Electrician, High Voltage Electrician, Water Treatment Plant Operator, Railroad Safety Inspector, Community Planner, Environmental Protection Specialist, Forester, Engineering Equipment Operator, and Motor Vehicle Operator.

Several contracting partners will also attend and have technical, business,and administrative vacancies.
