Bloomington Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

(BLOOMINGTON) – Bloomington Police arrested 30-year-old Allen Montgomery Friday on 10 counts of possession of child pornography after police allegedly found several hundred images on his computer.

According to Bloomington Police Department Capt. Ryan Pedigo, officers were alerted by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Montgomery was in possession of child pornography.

On Sept. 30, police searched Montgomery’s home and found an illegal handgun and meth. He was arrested on those charges.

Bloomington Police requested a search warrant for Google on Friday and found on Montgomery’s computer drive several hundred pornographic images of children, Pedigo added.
