Big Ten+ Graduate School Exposition to Take Place Virtually Oct. 4-5

(UNDATED) – The Big Ten+ Graduate School Exposition, hosted annually by the Purdue University Graduate School, will take place virtually on Oct. 4 and 5. The event features 90-plus higher education institutions, including Big Ten and other major research universities.

Purdue’s Grad Expo is one of the largest university-hosted graduate recruitment and informational events in the country, attracting over 450 attendees in 2019. The 2020 Grad Expo Virtual Experience will feature a variety of opportunities for individuals considering graduate education in STEM-related areas, including a graduate fair, workshops on graduate education and funding, and networking receptions with current graduate students and professors. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for students to obtain in-depth information about graduate education and research opportunities from a variety of graduate institutions,” says Tom Atkinson, associate dean of the Graduate School and interim director of graduate admissions at Purdue. “When attending Grad Expo, students can speak with professors, current graduate students, and staff about graduate school and the steps necessary to accomplish their long-term goals.”

The event is free for students and Purdue alumni. Registration is required and available online. For more information and to view a list of attending institutions, visit the Grad Expo website.
