(MITCHELL) – Join the Mitchell American Legion Cecil C. Martin Post 250 for their annual memory ride on Saturday.
According to ALR Director Greg Allen this is in honor and memory of fallen American Legionnaires, auxiliary members, and Sons of legionnaires.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. with kickstands up at 10:30 a.m.
The cost is $25.
The cost includes the fun ride, dinner, and door prizes.
There will be a 50/50 drawing
For those not riding dinner is $7.
The fundraiser is used to purchase items to fill Christmas care packages that are delivered to all of the local veterans in Lawrence County nursing homes.
A rain date is set for Sept. 26.
