(MITCHELL) – On Sunday afternoon a man was injured during a moped versus car accident in front of Ace Hardware in Mitchell.
The 9-1-1 call reporting an accident with injuries at the intersection of 12th and Main Streets in Mitchell.
Mitchell Police Department officers found that 73-year-old Ellen Williams, was turning into 12th street as she was leaving Ace Hardware and did not see a moped being operated by 54-year-old Scott Strange.
Strange was transported by Seals ambulance to a nearby landing zone and transported to the University of Louisville Hospital for a possible femur fracture.
