The Kyle Snyder American Legion Post 398 is comprised of veteran offenders who reside at WVCF.  On November 8, 2013, the post was established in recognition of a man who lost his life while serving in the 76th Infantry Brigade.  Chaplain David Walker is the liaison for the Post and helps coordinate events.  Members of Post 398 are required to meet the same requirements as American Legion Posts in the communities.

Throughout the year, Post 398 raises money for the community by hosting fundraisers. During 2019 the Kyle Snyder Post donated over $20,000 to multiple organizations including Riley’s Children’s Hospital, area schools, and scholarship programs.
