  • 10:32 p.m. Traffic stop at Mitchell Road and 23rd Street. A citation was issued for driving while driver’s license suspended
  • 10:29 p.m. Traffic stop of Patrick Robbins Way and Plaza Drive. A citation was issued for driving while driver’s license suspended
  • 10:13 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1910 block of 26th Street. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded

  • 6:28 p.m. Jennifer Wooten, 34, 1060 Indian Creek Rd., wanted on a warrant

Incidents – Sept. 2

  • 5:56 a.m. 911 call on US 50 East. A vehicle pulled out onto the highway with no lights on and is all over the roadway. The caller then hung up 
  • 6:28 a.m. Domestic fight in the 30 block of Fleetwood Addition
  • 7:37 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Needmore School
  • 7:37 a.m. Request for animal control to the 70 block of Shawswick School
  • 7:44 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Oolitic Middle School
  • 7:46 a.m. Police made extra patrols at Shawswick School
  • 7:51 a.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 2170 block of US 50 East at LNL Trucking. The person is now hiding in the bushes behind the building. Police were unable to find the person
  • 8:16 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37, south of Oolitic
  • 8:59 a.m. Request for animal control to the 270 block of Guthrie Bend Road
  • 9:08 a.m. Mischief reported in the 710 block of Earl Road
  • 9:13 a.m. A motorist hit a bull in the roadway at Liberty Church Road and Hidden Valley Lane
  • 9:42 a.m. Request for animal control on Mill Creek Road. The neighbor has a dead horse in a sinkhole. The owner of the horse was advised about the state law of disposing of a dead animal. Animal control will check back for a follow-up
  • 10:34 a.m. Report of an erratic driver southbound on State Road 37 passing the Judah intersection
  • 10:49 a.m. Follow up investigation in the 510 block of South Second Street

  • 11:09 a.m. Request for animal control to the 850 block of Sugar Hill Addition. The neighbor’s dog is running loose again
  • 11:14 a.m. Report of a possible natural gas leak in the 1360 block of North Pike Road. Marshall Volunteer Fire Department secured the leak

  • 1:31 p.m. Request for animal control in the 150 block of Guthrie Bend for a stray dog. The dog was gone when animal control arrived

  • 4:18 p.m. 911 call at the boat ramp at the causeway at Lake Monroe. An older male is laying in the parking lot
  • 4:44 p.m Request for animal control in the 1540 block of State Road 37 for a Pitbull running loose
  • 4:54 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a silver minivan on State Road 37 and Washboard Road
  • 5:22 p.m. Traffic stop at Rabbitsville Road and Doc Hamilton Boulevard

  • 6:03 p.m. 911 call in the 440 block of South Third Street in Orleans reporting a domestic fight. Orange County Sheriff’s Department was alerted

Incidents – Sept. 3

  • 12:07 a.m. A woman in the 210 block of Main Street in Oolitic said she woke up and everyone is gone and she is requesting to speak to an officer. The female has several medical issues and just woke up confused
  • 12:47 a.m. Agency assist at 5th and N streets
  • 2:27 a.m. Officers made extra patrols at Crossroads Church
  • 4:11 a.m. Transport detail at IU Health Hospital.  A patient was transported to IU Bloomington Hospital on a 72 hour hold

  • 5:17 p.m. Property damage accident in the 980 block of Reuter Lane
  • 9:20 p.m. Property damage accident in the 600 block of Stumphole Bridge Road
