Bedford Middle School Releases Information On Fall Sports Season

(BEDFORD) – Bedford Middle School Principal Lucas Calhoun released information on the middle school fall sports season.

“Like you, we are so excited about these events and before we see our student-athletes compete, we wanted to touch base with you about spectator procedures for those attending athletic events,” Calhoun said.

Because of COVID-19, school officials are required to limit the crowd size at all athletic events.  As a result, each student-athlete will get a specific amount of vouchers that can be used to purchase tickets at the athletic event.

Spectators possessing a voucher will be able to purchase a ticket at the gate. Each sport will have a different amount of vouchers. There will be no general admission tickets sold for football or volleyball. Without a voucher, you will not be allowed to purchase a ticket.

While at the game, spectators are asked to ward mask and practice social distancing as much as possible.

For football, there may be space on the grass around the track for spectators to bring a lawn chair if they choose.

“We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue to navigate these unprecedented circumstances,” Principal Calhoun added. “Thank you for supporting BMS and our student-athletes.”
