Senior Fair 2020 In The Books – Ready For 2021

(BEDFORD ) – The 32nd Annual Senior Fair held at the Sherwood Oaks Christian Church Bedford is now in the books and 1340 AM WBIW, Super Oldies 105.5 WQRK, and Lite FM 102.5 WPHZ is gearing up for Senior Fair 2021.

Those attending this year’s event were excited just to be able to get out. For some it was the very first time since COVID-19 hit.

Linea Skeen of Bedford said,”I have been here several times over the years; glad I was able to attend this year. I always look for many of the items the vendors have to offer and fill my bag.”

Although attendance was down this year from previous Senior Fairs, vendors were still impressed with the number of people who did attend.

The vendors say they were happy to be able to devote more one on one time with attendees and provide them with information on products and services.

Mallor Grodner Attorneys, who sponsored this year’s event, was one of the many vendors who were able to provide attendees and their families with important information to start planning for their future health care and financial needs.

“I came with my 82-year-old sister and 94-year-old mother. As I get older I need to plan for my children. I am not getting any younger so I need to plan,” said Patty Sanders. “I just enjoy being around a bunch of people.”

Around 300 people attended this year’s event.
