Boil Order Issued for Some Bedford Residents

(BEDFORD) – Bedford City Utilities has issued a precautionary boil order after a disruption of service for the following addresses:

  • 101 17th Street
  • 104 17th Street
  • 105 17th Street
  • 122 17th Street
  • 125 17th Street
  • 201 17th Street
  • 202 17th Street
  • 205 17th Street
  • 206 17th Street
  • 208 17th Street
  • 213 17th Street
  • 217 17th Street

This precautionary Boil Order will remain in force for 48 hours. The order was issued due to the shutting the valve off to the water main.

Customers may experience low pressure or no water while the main is being repaired.

  • Bring water to a boil. Let water boil vigorously for 2 minutes.
  • Let the water cool, or alternatively use bottled water.
  • Pre-boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, brushing teeth, washing vegetables, washing dishes, making formula, all food preparation, and consumption, and making or using ice until further notice.
