(INDIANAPOLIS) – One candidate, Chris Jeter of Fishers, has filed to fill the remainder of former House Speaker Brian Bosma’s term.
The caucus will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at the McCordsville Town Hall located at 6280 W. 800 N.; McCordsville, IN 46055.
Proper social distancing will be in effect, and facial coverings will be required.
Credentialed media interested in attending the caucus must RSVP to hlawson@indiana.gop by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18. Media planning to attend MUST RSVP in order to receive proper credentials to attend the caucus. Be sure to bring your outlet’s credentials as a form of identification.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the caucus beginning at 6 p.m. A Facebook Live Stream will be available at www.facebook.com/indgop for members of the public who wish to watch the caucus live.
Caucus Process
The caucus will be presided over by Indiana Republican Party State Chairman Kyle Hupfer. Two minutes will be allocated for Jeter’s introduction, and he will then have three minutes to speak on his own behalf. Voting will then follow.
