Jena Rhene Pursell, 60, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at her residence.
Born June 26, 1960, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Jim Pursell and Patricia (Henderson) Kindred.
Jena was a homemaker and loved to cook, clean, and care for her dog, Poochie. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and loved her kids and grandkids. She was also feisty. Jena attended the Bedford Baptist Temple.
Survivors include her children, Dustin Lee (Arley) Mills of Paoli, Micah James Mills of Bedford, Patric Dean (Kathy) York of Paoli, Meisha Shanae (Evan) Roberts of Bedford, Matthew Shane (Ashley Niccole) York of Bedford; 21 grandchildren; siblings, Jimmy Pursell of Avon, Lisa Kennedy of Bedford, Denise Rash of Spencer, Charles Turpin of Indiana, Sailor Schofield of Bedford
Her parents and daughter, Jennifer Rhene Pursell, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, August 17, at Mitchell Cemetery with Reverend Nathan Sharpe officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
