Bedford Police Arrest Two On Meth Charges

(BEDFORD) – Two people were arrested after a Bedford Police officer stopped their vehicle at 4th Street and Lincoln Avenue early this morning.

Samuel Harrison

According to Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore, the officers were patrolling the area when they noticed 30-year-old Samuel Harrison driving a vehicle.

“The officer knew Harrison did not have a valid driver’s license,” said Chief Moore. “After the officer confirmed Harrison’s driving status he stopped the vehicle.”

Shanice McIntosh

During a conversation with Harrison and his passenger, 24-year-old Shanice McIntosh, officers obtained permission to search the vehicle.

Officers located meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

“After being transported to the station, McIntosh told officers she had additional narcotics on her,” said Chief Moore. “She removed two baggies that contained meth and heroin.”

Both Harrison and McIntosh are facing charges of possession of meth, possession of a narcotic drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
