Bloomington Mayor Joins City Leaders To Discuss Actions Toward Racial Equity As Community Recovers Forward

(BLOOMINGTON) – Bloomington Mayor John Hamilton’s Recover Forward initiative seeks to rebuild the community in a more permanently equitable way as it recovers from the current public health and economic crisis.  

In a Zoom conference call today, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. to be streamed live at the City of Bloomington Facebook page, Mayor Hamilton speaks about current and proposed actions to cultivate racial equity with Community and Family Resources Director Beverly Calender-Anderson, Chief of Police Mike Diekhoff, and City Council Member Jim Sims.  

This conversation will be available via live stream at the City of Bloomington Facebook page, where viewers may pose questions that will be relayed to the panelists if time allows.
