Off-Road Vehicle Accident Claims Life Of Vincennes Man

(VINCENNES) – Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an off-road vehicle (ORV) accident that occurred Saturday, killing a Knox County, Indiana, man.

Knox County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call at 11:23 p.m. about an off-road vehicle accident on Deer Trail north of Lafferty Road in Vincennes.

According to Indiana Conservation officers, 56-year-old William Keith Webb, of Vincennes, was traveling northbound in a side by side off-road vehicle on Deer Trail when the vehicle left the gravel drive and overturned.  Webb was thrown from the vehicle and pinned beneath the vehicle.  

Webb was transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  An autopsy will be scheduled early this week. 

The investigation is still ongoing.
