(MITCHELL) – The Mitchell Police Department is investigating a large number of break-ins to vehicles over the last several days.
Police say a number of unlocked vehicles were broke into and items were stolen.
The Mitchell Police Department has increased patrols throughout the city.
Police ask residents to report suspicious activity by contacting dispatch at 812-275-3316.

- Do not leave valuables in your vehicle
- Keep valuables out of sight install motion lights Install cameras
- REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
