AG Curtis Hill To Host 11th Annual Drug Abuse Symposium

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Tickets to the 11th Annual Drug Abuse Symposium are on sale.

The symposium will be held Oct. 22, 2020, at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Indianapolis. For the first time ever, the symposium this year features a virtual option enabling remote attendance via the internet.

“Drug abuse continues to destroy lives across Indiana and the rest of the nation,” Attorney General Curtis Hill said. “Saving Hoosiers from the grips of addiction remains one of our top priorities, and this symposium is an important forum at which professionals from various disciplines can share strategies for winning this battle.”

Stringent measures are in place at this year’s symposium to protect attendees from the novel coronavirus. Information from the Hyatt on public safety precautions to protect from COVID-19 is attached. 

More information on the symposium can be found online. When purchasing tickets, individuals should be sure to indicate whether they are selecting the in-person option or virtual option. In-person tickets will be limited due to COVID-19.

 After Sept. 1: In-Person: $200; Virtual: $150

Government Employees: In-Person: $100; Virtual: $50

Students: In-Person: $50; Virtual: $25

The Annual Drug Abuse Symposium hosted by the Office of the Indiana Attorney General is an educational symposium at which professionals in a variety of fields have the opportunity to receive credits approved by the Indiana State Medical Association.
