Oolitic Town Council Member Bill Kendall Resigns

(OOLITIC) – Oolitic Town Council Member Bill Kendall attended his last meeting Monday evening. It was announced during the meeting that Kendall had submitted his resignation.

Bill Kendall was sworn in as a Oolitic Town Council Member last year. Kendall has served 8.5 years on the Oolitic Town Council.

Bill is resigning from his position on the council because he and his wife are dealing with some personal issues.

“I want to thank the Town of Oolitic for the last eight and half years of being able to serve on the Town Council. I believe the town is moving in the right direction. It has been a pleasure to serve,” said Bill Kendall.

Anyone who wishes to serve on the Oolitic Town Council can do so by contacting Lawrence County Republican Chairman Chris May.

A Republican Caucus will be held at a later date to fill the vacancy.
