(OOLITIC) – The Lawrence County Republican Central Committee will appoint an individual to the Oolitic Town Council on Monday, August 3 to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Bill Kendall effective July 1, 2020.
Interested republican candidates in good standing must file a notarized declaration of candidacy (State Form CEB-5 found on the Secretary of State website at http://www.in.gov/sos/ and at the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office) then submit a letter of interest along with a resume to the Central Committee.
Candidacy forms may be notarized at the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office and will NOT be accepted after 4 p.m. on Friday, July 31.
All forms are available online at the Indiana Secretary of State website and the Lawrence County Voter Registration Office. Resume and forms must also be mailed to Lawrence County GOP, 1522 I Street, Bedford, IN 47421.
