(INDIANAPOLIS) – The Indiana Department of Revenue (DOR) is reminding Hoosiers this year’s annual public hearing will be held on Friday, June 26 at 10 a.m. EST. In-person attendees and those wishing to provide comments should RSVP no later than Thursday, June 25.
The annual public hearing provides customers with a general overview of the agency’s progress and allows direct feedback from the public. DOR Commissioner Bob Grennes will provide updates on the agency’s successes, top challenges, and future. Chief Information Officer Kevin Gulley will provide an update on Project NextDOR, the agency’s multi-year modernization initiative.
- To attend in-person, customers will need to RSVP by emailing email@example.com by Thursday, June 25. Attendees will enter through the public entrance and security checkpoint of Indiana Government Center North, and then check-in at the first-floor lobby of DOR. All hearing attendees are encouraged to wear face masks.
- To watch online, individuals can visit the annual public hearing section on DOR’s website at dor.in.gov/4877.htm for the meeting link. Online viewers can log into the meeting starting at 9:45 a.m. EST and the meeting will begin promptly at 10 a.m. EST.
TO PROVIDE COMMENT:
- Individuals attending in-person or watching online may submit comments to DOR before the meeting by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday, June 25. All comments will be read aloud and included in the meeting minutes posted online after the hearing.
- Individuals wishing to attend in-person and speak during the hearing are, again, encouraged to email email@example.com to RSVP no later than June 25 to reserve a speaker slot.
