(BLOOMFIELD) – A vehicle fire spread to another vehicle and home in Greene County Saturday morning.
The Center-Jackson Township Fire Territory responded to a vehicle fire at 5:07 a.m. Saturday on Crowe Road.
While firefighters were responding to the fire, they received reports that the vehicle was parked close to a residence. Within nine minutes of receiving the call, firefighters found two vehicles and a mobile home on fire.
Firefighters were able to fight the fire from the inside of the home. The home was heavily damaged by the blaze.
The owner of the home is David Fields of Bloomfield.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department was called to assist the fire department in the investigation.
Firefighters from Beech Creek Township, Richland Township, and Greene County Ambulance Service also responded to the scene.
