Three Men Arrested On Theft Charges In Martin County

(MARTIN CO.) – On Tuesday, at approximately 12:58 p.m., the Indiana State Police received a report of a theft that had occurred in Jasper at the Home Depot store.

The suspects’ vehicle left the store with three male occupants traveling northbound on U.S. 231.

Martin County Sheriff Major Keith Keller observed the vehicle a short time later on U.S. 50 near Rama Dye Road in Martin County and stopped the vehicle.

ISP Trooper Ross Johnson and Deputy Jonathan Wells arrived to assist.

All three male occupants were detained and identified.

Ramone Stroud

Police arrested 50-year-old Ramone Stroud, of Louisville, 18-year-old Jordan D. Armstrong, and 37-year-old Howard S. Stiltz.

All three men are facing a felony charge of theft.

Stroud is also charged with operating a vehicle without ever receiving a driver’s license.

Armstrong is also facing a charge of possession of marijuana.
