Two Arrested After Fleeing Accident Scene

(BEDFORD) – Two people were arrested after fleeing the scene of an accident on Wednesday at Becky Skillman Way and John Williams Boulevard.

Police say the driver of a blue 1999 Chevrolet pickup crashed into a sign while traveling northbound on Becky Skillman Way.

Witnesses gave police a description of both a male and female and the direction they ran.

Miles Holler

“Officers located the male driver, 22-year-old Miles Holler, hiding in the landscaping at Williams Carpenter Reality,” said Chief Terry Moore. “He was given commands by officers and after refusing he had to be forcibly handcuffed.”

Holler told police he ran from the scene because he was scared.

McKenzie Pruett

“The passenger, 26-year-old McKenzie Pruett, was located in the Kindred Spirits store,” added Chief Terry. “When officers entered, she tried to run towards the back of the store after being told to stop. Pruett, who showed the usual signs of being intoxicated, continued to pull away from officers while being handcuffed.”

She was arrested on charges of public intoxication and two counts of resisting arrest.
