(CRANE) – Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, Naval Support Activity Crane has postponed its annual Memorial Day tradition of allowing family members to visit buried loved ones at the 28 cemeteries on the installation.
There is currently no date set for when NSA Crane will host its cemetery visits for 2020. However, initial estimates could be as early as the fall. Likewise, the installation intends on resuming the Memorial Day event next year.
Although Indiana has eased certain restrictions, NSA Crane continues to limit nonessential access to the installation in an abundance of caution in an effort to ensure the safety of its critical workforce and its mission.
