MCCSC Congratulates High School Seniors

(BLOOMINGTON) – Congratulations Monroe County high school seniors. 

“Your endeavors, patience, and understanding are most appreciated as we navigate our COVID-19 responses. Although there have been many disappointments, we are so very proud of our seniors who have been relentless in reaching graduation and preparing for their futures” said Monroe County Schools Superintendent Dr. Judith DeMuth.

“With your help. our virtual graduations have been professionally completed and will take place on the schedule that has been in place for many years.”

The virtual graduation schedule:

  • Thursday, May 28 at 7 p.m. – Bloomington Graduation School
  • Friday, May 29 at 7 p.m. – The Academy of Science and Entrepreneurship
  • Saturday, May 30 at 9 a.m. – Bloomington High School South
  • Saturday, May 30 at 2 p.m. – Bloomington High School North

Senior high school principals will be in contact with seniors to schedule graduates who would like to “walk the stage” and be congratulated. Family members will be able to take pictures or video of their graduate. This is scheduled for the week of July 6.

“Although this is not how we would have preferred these milestone activities to take place, our graduates of the Class of 2020 will always have a special place in the Monroe County Community School Corporation’s history” Dr. DeMuth added. “Thank you for your patience and support. Congratulations graduates and families of the Class of 2020!”
