“As we wrap up this unconventional school year, we would like to thank you, parents and guardians,” said Dr. Mungle. “Over the past two months, you have supported your student’s learning and instruction. We know that every family has battled challenging circumstances, and yet, because of your support, students have continued to be engaged and learn.”

Students will be allowed to keep their Chromebooks throughout the summer.

Students should bring their fully charged device in its case to school with them when they return on August 10, 2020.

Officials have created a document for more information about Chromebooks use over the summer. Please click here to view the document.

Final grades will be posted in Powerschool on Friday, May 29.

“At-Home Learning can only have a positive impact on a students’ 4th quarter grade,” said Dr. Mungle. “This means your student may finish the year with a higher grade (not a lower grade) than they earned in the third quarter before schools were closed.”

School officials would like your feedback as they continue to evaluate and prepare for what school might look like for students in August. Please take a moment and click here to complete the NLCS Fall 2020 Plans Survey.
