Myra G. Grissom, 71 of Mitchell passed away at 11:09 p.m. on May 15, 2020, at IU Bloomington Hospital.
She was born on October 10, 1948, in Lawrence County to Gail Bowman and Josie (Fields) Bowman. Myra married Paul Grissom on April 20, 1968
and he survives.
Myra was a graduate of Mitchell High School Class of 1966; she had previously worked at NWSC Crane and attended the Bride of Christ Fellowship in Mitchell.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Grissom of Mitchell, two
children, Brian (Tamara) Grissom of Orleans and Tammy Grissom
of Columbus, two grandchildren, Madelyn and Josie, one brother,
Rick (Judy) Bowman of Texas.
Myra was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20,
2020 at Cresthaven Funeral Home, burial will follow in Cresthaven
Memory Gardens Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home. Under the State of Indiana COVID-19 restrictions, visitation will be limited to 25 people at one time.
