(BLOOMINGTON) – The USDA Summer Food Service Program for Children (SFSP) was created to serve nutritious meals to children when the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program meals are not available.
During this unprecedented time, to ensure Monroe County Community School Corporation students have access to nutritious meals MCCSC is collaborating with Community Kitchens to provide lunch for Monroe County Students during the summer months.
Beginning May 26, through June 30, MCCSC and the Community Kitchen will provide lunch (at no charge) to youth 18 and under at 28 locations. Community Kitchen will provide lunch at 12 locations through August 2, 2020.
MCCSC Pickup days:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Thursday bags will include 2 meals)
Community Kitchen Pickup days: Monday through Friday
