(WASHINGTON) – Washington Mayor David Rhoads says Waterworld will remain closed for the 2020 summer season.
Mayor Rhoads says the decision was made after conferring with the Park and Recreation Department, the Daviess County Health Department, and other city officials.
Mayor Rhoads says the decision was not taken lightly. He added the safety of the people of the community comes first and foremost.
