(MITCHELL) – Firefighters with Mitchell and Marion Township Volunteer Fire Departments are battling a house fire at 1132 West Oak Street.
According to firefighters, the fire started in a bedroom.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire quickly but the home sustained fire, smoke, and water damage.
Firefighters are currently searching the attic area to make sure the fire didn’t spread.
