(JASPER) – Two men were arrested after Indiana State Police were contacted by Walmart security at the Jasper Walmart on Thursday.

All of the items stolen were recovered and returned to the store. The total retail amount of the items was $1,547.93.

Police also learned Bunch had outstanding warrants from Vanderburg County on charges of possession of meth and two felony counts of theft and three misdemeanor charges of theft.

“Manion, the driver of the vehicle, transported the pair from one crime scene to the next,” said ISP Public Information Sgt. David Henderson. “Manion had also altered the license plate on the vehicle in an attempt to deceive authorities. Detective Werne is investigating the possibility that the two men have committed similar crimes in the area.”

Both men were then transported to the Dubois County Security Center.

Detective Werne was assisted by officers from the Jasper City Police Department, deputies with the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department and ISP Trooper Connor Giesler.
