Chad Judy, 41 of Mitchell passed away peacefully of natural causes on May 3, 2020.
He was born on April 16, 1979, in Salem. Chad was a 1998 graduate of Orleans High School where he participated many years in the marching band. Chad was employed by Cave Quarries of Paoli. He was an avid hunter and motorcycle rider. He loved drawing, hanging out with friends. and attending concerts.
He is survived by his son Rhys Judy, daughter Gracye Judy; mother and stepfather Margie and Frank Briner of Mitchell; father and step-mother Ivan and Renee Judy of Plainville; siblings Megan Richardson and her husband, Kyle of Marengo; Tyler Judy of Paoli; Evan Judy and his wife, Larynda of Plainville; Audrey Martin and her husband, Ryan of Indianapolis; Justin Briner and his wife, Kayla of Boonville; Jordan Briner of Livonia and Jaelyn Briner of Carmel; nieces and nephews: Ashton, Brody, Hayden, Jaxson, Levi and Zoel; many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
Chad is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Mary Jane Emmitt and paternal grandparents Cecil and Betty Judy.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, May 8 at McAdams Mortuary. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 9 at Orleans Town Cemetery. A funeral procession will leave McAdams Mortuary at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, friends and family are welcome to follow. Bro. Tom Bostic and Cory Collins will preside over the services. Burial will be in Orleans Town Cemetery.
