Wabash Valley Correctional Facility Announces Staff Promotion

(CARLISLE) – Wabash Valley Correctional Facility (WVCF) and Deputy Warden Frank Littlejohn congratulate Jeff Stuppy on his new position as a correctional lieutenant.

Lieutenant Jeff Stuppy

Lieutenant Stuppy began his career as a correctional officer at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility (WVCF) on September 2, 1997. Lieutenant Stuppy has over 22 years of experience. He worked both day shift and night shift as an officer, seeing firsthand the 24-hour operations of the facility. In May 2018 he was promoted to Correctional Sergeant. As a sergeant, he used his front line experience to teach his fellow colleagues, proving that he was a true leader.

In addition, Lieutenant Stuppy is trained as a Quick Response Team (QRT) Member, a Field Training Officer (FTO), an E-Squad team member, and a Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) member. His training and experience are an excellent foundation to build upon as he takes on the responsibilities of a Correctional Lieutenant.

Deputy Warden Littlejohn stated the following concerning Lieutenant Stuppy’s promotion. “I believe that Stuppy’s vast experience will make him an excellent addition to the Leadership Team at WVCF. He has proven his ability to adapt to a variety of positions, while meeting the demands of supervising both staff and offenders.”
