4.01k Race For Financial Fitness™ Goes Virtual On June 7th

(INDIANAPOLIS) – The second annual 4.01k Race for Financial Fitness is going virtual! Aiming to raise money to improve financial literacy for school-aged kids across the country, the 4.01k Race for Financial Fitness™ will kick off at the location of your choice on Sunday, June 7 with a day of interactive activities via social media and the challenge will continue through June 20.  Hosted by ProCourse Fiduciary Advisors, local race proceeds will benefit Junior Achievement of Central Indiana to promote students’ financial literacy.

Run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill.  The beauty in a virtual race is you get to run your own race and at your own pace.  Connect your device to the app and it will automatically sync you to the challenge.  We will be there with you along the way, with sponsors cheering for you at every milestone.  After completing your personal race, celebrate by submitting a photo at the finish line on the app or to rgates@jaindy,org.   Don’t forget to post your accomplishment to your social media and hashtag #401kraceindy.

“We are very excited about this year’s 4.01K virtual race, which will serve as an important fundraiser for Junior Achievement of Central Indiana,” said Jennifer Burk, JACI’s President and CEO.  “There is tremendous need and demand for our financial literacy and career exploration programs to keep our young people inspired and future-focused!”

“We are excited to support Junior Achievement for yet another year.  In times like these, we are humbled by the opportunity to aid our community and know that academic resources for our youth are more important than ever,” said Doug Price, founder and CEO of ProCourse Fiduciary Advisors.

In addition to Indianapolis, this year’s races are scheduled to take place in Phoenix, Las Vegas, Kansas City, New York, Nashville and Charlottesville. The route for the virtual race will measure 4.01 kilometers (about 2.5 miles).

The 4.01K Race for Financial Fitness™ is a signature program of the Smarter Tomorrow Foundation™, which was created by Chepenik Financial to expand access to financial literacy education for students across the nation.
