(COLUMBUS) – A Columbus man was arrested this morning after stealing a camera from a vehicle in downtown Columbus.
According to Columbus Police, an officer was on patrol in the 400 block of Third Street around 5:20 a.m. when he noticed a truck door open and saw a man leaving the area riding a bicycle.
Police spoke to the owner of the truck and learned a camera was missing.
Police found 31-year-old Ryan Melloh riding his bicycle and found the missing camera in his backpack. They also found meth in his pockets.
Melloh was arrested on charges of theft and possession of meth.
