Robert Leon Williams, 90, of Mitchell, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at Mitchell Manor. He was born June 2, 1929, to John Paul and Edna Marie (Parrish) Williams in Orleans, Indiana.
He graduated from Orleans High School in 1947.
Leon married Wanda Gayle Hottle on September 22, 1950, and she preceded him in death on August 2, 2011.
He worked at Carpenter Body Works for several years before becoming a carpenter in the area. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sister, Laura Emily Bobbitt.
Leon is survived by a sister, Evelyn M. Pinnick-Wild of Longmont, Colorado, a brother,
Harold Williams (Lynn) of Brighton, Colorado, and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be at a later date.
