(PERRY CO.) – On Monday, the Indiana State Police at Jasper and the Perry County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a body found near the Rome boat ramp on the Ohio River.
Troopers, Indiana Conservation Officers and Deputies were able to retrieve the body and an autopsy was scheduled for today.
At the time of this release, no positive identification has been made on the body and the investigation is ongoing. State Police detectives are diligently working on identifying the body and determining a cause of death.
When more information becomes available it will be released.
