Prayers Offered During “Bedford Prayer Night”

(BEDFORD) – The Bedford First Church of God organized a Bedford Prayer Night on Tuesday night from 7pm until 9 pm at the Lawrence County Courthouse and both hospitals in Bedford.

Many lifted up prayers around Bedford Tuesday evening

Prayers of wisdom and protection for government leaders were uttered.

Vehicles line up around the Bedford Square praying for local, state, and federal leaders in the midst of this health crisis.

Prayers for protection and endurance were said for first responders who are working long hours taking care of the sick.

Vehicles lined up in the parking lot of St. Vincent Dunn to offer prayers for the hospital workers and first responders.

Prayers were said for hospital staff, doctors and nurses, sanitation workers, hospital security, and administration for their protection and needed provisions of personal protective equipment.

Many gathered at IU Health Bedford for prayers for those that are sick and facing other health issues.

Prayers were also said to protect and heal those that are suffering from COVID-19 and other health-related concerns.

Prayers were offered to businesses who are suffering through this uncertain economic time. Prayers were offered to those who have lost their jobs and are struggling.

Finally, prayers were lifted up for unity, healing, and peace – not only for Bedford but the United States and the world. Prayers were lifted up that things will soon get back to normal.
