White River Humane Society in Need of Donations

(BEDFORD) – The White River Humane Society is in need of donations.

Due to COVID-19, the shelter is feeling the effects of a decrease in needed donations.

“We are doing everything we can to tighten our belt,” said WRHS Board President Buddy Hendrick. “The big summer Garage Sale everyone looks forward to is yet to be determined if it can happen this year or not. It generates around $5,000 and is a much-needed supplement for the shelter. A lot of things will depend on how quickly the economy will bounce back and when we will no longer be at risk for COVID-19. We just want everyone to know we understand the struggles are not just us – it’s everyone. We have always been blessed by your support and just want to say thank you so much for every way that you have helped. We will all get through this together.”
