FOP 94 Helping Local Families During COVID-19 Health Emergency

(BEDFORD) – In order to best support the Bedford community during this difficult time, the FOP Lodge 94 has teamed up with Walmart and Bedford Ruler Foods to provide necessities – grocery items and cleaning supplies – to 12 of the city’s at-risk citizens.

“We are grateful for continuous support from our community throughout the years and are lucky to give back in the smallest way.”

Because of the limited amount of items, officers will provide care packages on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you meet criteria or would like to recommend someone, please contact the Bedford Police Department via Facebook or under the contact tab at http://www.stonecityfop.com.

Please include the name of the individual(s), why you believe they may be in need, their address and a contact number.

To maintain privacy, please do not post anyone’s information in the comments section.

Beginning on Friday, April 3rd, off-duty Bedford Police officers will donate their time and provide no contact delivery to their doorstep.

To be eligible for the items, you must be a citizen of Bedford and someone in the household must be over the age of 60 and meet one of the following criteria:

  • Have underlying health conditions
  • Do not have access to transportation
  • Have financial restrictions
  • Are currently under doctor ordered/recommended quarantine

If you are interested in donating, in order for us to continue serving the community, please contact us via Facebook messenger or under the contact tab at http://www.stonecityfop.com.
