Bedford Man Arrested on Warrant, New Drug Charges

(BEDFORD) – A Bedford man was arrested Sunday after an officer on normal patrol noticed him in the area of 16th and O streets.

At 6:40 p.m. Sunday a Bedford Police officer stopped 36-year-old Michael Gillespie, of 2123 Washington Ave.

Gillespie was wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke.

While searching Gillespie before taking him to jail, the officer found meth and drug paraphernalia in his pocket.

Gillespie is now facing new charges of possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
