BNL’s Bailey named All-HHC

BNL senior Brayton Bailey was named to the Hoosier Hills Conference First Team by the league coaches.

BEDFORD – Bedford North Lawrence senior Brayton Bailey was named to the Hoosier Hills Conference’s First Team by the league coaches.

Bailey averaged 20.5 points, 7.7 rebounds and 5.6 assists – all team highs – as the Stars went 15-10 overall and finished second in the HHC race with a 5-2 record.

Bailey also finished second in school history with 1,579 career points.

Joining Bailey on the All-HHC team are Floyd Central’s Jake Heidbreder And Grant Gohmann (who powered the Highlanders to their first sectional title since 1989), Jeffersonville’s Tre Coleman and Jacob Jones, New Albany’s Trey Hourigan and Kaden Stanton, Jennings County’s Aaron Martin, Seymour’s Eric McCoy and Madison’s Luke Miller.

BNL junior Kooper Staley was named to the Honorable Mention team. Staley averaged 8.8 points while hitting 44 3-pointers.

Jeffersonville’s Chris Moore was named Coach of the Year after leading the Red Devils to the league championship with a 6-1 mark.
