(BEDFORD) – The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department is accepting applications for future hiring for the position of merit deputy.
General Information
- Base pay of $41,941.00/year

Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 21 years old at the time of employment
- Must pass a standard written examination
- Must be able to pass Indiana Law Enforcement Academy physical standards
- Must be able to pass a background investigation
- Must pass two oral interviews
- Must be able to pass a medical and psychological examination
- Must pass a voice stress or polygraph examination
